Dr. Hatcher’s cabin
Introducing Dr. Hatcher’s cabin- Colonel Dr. George Hatcher MD grew up on the farm and would later go on to serve in both World Wars. He reconstructed this cabin for his family in 1928 as their family home on the farm. In later years, he would host the grandkids every summer. They would ride ponies in the yard and help with the hogs and cattle. His grandsons would later go on to start bottling their own milk and carry on the family farm tradition. The cabin has been recently renovated in to an AirBnB for guests to come and learn a little bit more about our Hatcher family history.
