• Q. What will be included in the tour?

  Milk Barn Museum- Learn about our farm and Hatcher family history in our historic milk barn where we have milked our cows for the past 75 years!

  Robot Viewing Room- Watch our two Lely A5 robots milk cows and learn about robotic milking systems.

  Barn Loft Viewing and Play Area -The tour takes guests upstairs to our newly renovated barn loft. Upstairs we have a kids play area where kids can pretend milk a cows, pretend bottle milk and sell their milk in our play store! There is also viewing windows to our calf area and two windows to view our milking robots from above.

  This is self guided so that you may enjoy each space at your own pace. Some visitors may wish to learn about history while others may choose to spend more time playing - and that's okay! You will have approximately an hour and half to enjoy all the tour as to offer.

  After your tour, you may drive over to our Dairy Store on the farm to purchase milk, local goods and Hatcher Family Dairy merch!

• When will tours start?

  Late Spring to Early Summer. We still need to finish up construction on our new museum and viewing area. Sign up for our mailing list to be the first to know when tickets go on sale!

• What ages is the tour appropriate for?

  A: All ages! The tours will be self guided so that guests may take their time based on interest and age of group members. Some little guests may want to play longer than other guests. And some older guests may want to spend more time learning about history. We aim to have a fun experience for the whole family!

• Will we get to pet animals on the tour?

  A: No. For the safety of our guests and animals, access to animals is not permitted during this tour. You will get to view cows from a safe distance. We do not offer a petting zoo.

• Q: Will you offer field trips or group tours?

  A: We will offer school group tours in the Fall 2024 and Spring 2025. There is a two class minimum or 50 person minimum for all group tours. If you are interested in booking, email us at tours@hatcherfamilydairy.com.
